Today is a day of dual significance for me. It marks both my first wedding anniversary and my birthday. This birthday feels especially meaningful as I reflect on my journey since being diagnosed with final-stage prostate cancer. It reminds me of the obstacles I’ve faced and the joyful moments that make life worth celebrating.

As I pause to think about my experiences, I am reminded of the friends who have supported me along the way. Recently, I lost a dear friend from my cancer support group, which deepened my desire to give back. To honour the lives of those I've lost, I have decided to organize a fundraising initiative for my local hospice.
Remembering Friends and Giving Back
On this special day, I invite others to join this mission of kindness. If you need help with your Management Information System (MIS), I will be available on August 22, 2025, for what I am calling “Feel Good Friday.” Every appointment booked fees will be 100% donated to the local hospice, ensuring their vital services continue for patients and families in need.
Taking Action: How You Can Help
Fundraising can take many forms and does not always require a grand event. It can be a small act of kindness, a simple donation, or sharing your talents. If you're wondering how you might contribute, consider what skills you could share. Some ideas include:
Organizing a bake sale to raise funds
Hosting a sponsored walk in your community
Offering your professional services for a day
By booking an appointment with me for “Feel Good Friday,” you are not only addressing your professional needs but also joining a cause that improves the quality of life for those facing similar battles.
